S. boulardii lowers Candida levels
We examined how Saccharomyces boulardii affects inflammation and colonization by Candida albicans in a mouse model of chemically-induced colitis. Mice were treated with either S. boulardii or C. albicans, and results showed that S. boulardii significantly reduced the levels of C. albicans and inflammation markers compared to controls.

Specifically, the presence of S. boulardii led to fewer yeast colonies and less severe inflammation, as seen in lower clinical scores. The study highlights the potential of S. boulardii as a promising treatment to combat yeast infections.

We explored the effects of Saccharomyces boulardii, a probiotic yeast, on the harmful effects of the Candida albicans fungus. Our study focused on how it can inhibit the growth and adhesion of this pathogen, which is known for causing serious infections.

Using extracts from S. boulardii, we found that a compound called capric acid plays a key role in reducing the fungus's growth and ability to form biofilms. This suggests that S. boulardii could be beneficial in managing yeast infections, particularly as resistance to traditional treatments increases.

We explored the impact of a probiotic mix, including Saccharomyces boulardii, on preventing yeast infections in children receiving broad-spectrum antibiotics in a pediatric intensive care unit.

In our study, involving over 700 children, we found that the group receiving probiotics experienced a significant reduction in both candidemia and candiduria compared to the control group.

This suggests that probiotics could be a helpful approach to decrease these infections in vulnerable patients. Overall, we observed promising results highlighting the value of probiotics in a clinical setting.

It works brilliantly. I acquired a staff infection from surgery that affected the bone. Taking cephalexin daily can lead to a serious yeast infection, but this saccharomyces prevents that from happening.

Boulardii is a remarkable yeast with resistance to the acidic gastrointestinal environment. It neutralises toxins and fights pathogenic microflora, effectively treating candidiasis faster and more affordably than pharmaceutical options. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Normalises digestion

After consuming antibiotics, my microbiome suffered. With these capsules, my digestion has normalised. The supplement doesn't colonise the intestines, so saccharomycetes, which are yeasts, are excreted without being absorbed. I take two caps morning and evening. Size is convenient, and the packaging is larger than similar products at pharmacies for the same price. I'd recommend this supplement for intestinal microbiome treatment, ideally under specialist supervision.

Saccharomyces boulardii shows effectiveness
We explored the effects of Saccharomyces boulardii on Candida albicans translocation from the gut in immunosuppressed rats. In a study with 60 rats divided into treatment and control groups, we found that both Saccharomyces boulardii and bombesin reduced the spread of Candida.

However, rats treated with bombesin had less severe inflammation and tissue damage compared to those given Saccharomyces boulardii. This suggests that while Saccharomyces boulardii offers some benefits, bombesin may be more effective against yeast infections in this context.

Saccharomycetes are incredibly beneficial probiotics that support gut health and help combat candida. After one week of taking them, any skin rashes disappeared, and overall inflammation noticeably decreased. I took one tablet nightly while avoiding flour and sweets.

Effective for IBS-D

Great for IBS-D. I’ve struggled with loose stools and urgency for years, trying many remedies, but this supplement works best. Initially sceptical about taking a yeast, it is well absorbed. I take it with bacillus coagulans, and together they significantly reduce diarrhoea. Now I’ve even experienced constipation instead. The taste is pleasant. Overall, it's good for gut health and clearly effective.

Cleans gut health

After just 1-2 weeks of use, I noticed improvements. Initially, the yeast made me feel nauseous, but that’s a normal response as it removes bad bacteria and fungi. This probiotic doesn’t colonise but cleanses the digestive tract, allowing good flora to recover. I experienced noticeable effects after adjusting the dosage carefully.

This is a strong supplement for chronic candidiasis. Saccharomyces Boulardii is effective at combating candida yeast overgrowth. Next time, I will start with just one capsule daily to see how I respond, but I believe it helps with chronic candidiasis issues.

Transformed bowel habits

I'm thrilled with these. Boulardii is a probiotic yeast that aids recovery from diarrhoea. It supports the good bacteria in my gut, which benefits my digestive health. My son has UC, and this dramatically improved his bowel habits. He used to wake 3-4 times at night, disrupting his sleep, but now he can enjoy meals at restaurants without worry.

I took this as part of my treatment protocol for infections related to autoimmune thyroiditis. It's excellent for reducing inflammation and effectively targets candida and other infections. Initially, I used Enterol, but this is more budget-friendly from Now Foods and works well.

If you suffer from Ulcerative Colitis, this product is worth trying. It was delivered efficiently by iHerb. I took it twice a day to help balance the yeast in my gut, and with dietary changes to remove sugars, carbohydrates, and dairy, the effects were immense. Highly recommended.

Essential in recovery

This has been crucial in my gut recovery after several antibiotics left me struggling to digest. I now take it daily for gut health, but it was key in re-establishing my microbiome post-antibiotics. It also helps with yeast infections, which I tend to experience after antibiotics.
